JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Production Manager, is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment. He is also responsible for maintaining refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises and assigns the work of maintenance personnel; Inspects their work for completeness.
• Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used; Transfers equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary.
• Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems within/outside the Company premises.
• Coordinates or inspects, operates and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems (including boiler system) within/outside the Company premises.
• Does general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping.
• Coordinates renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities.
• Coordinates and inspects major contract work on the refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems within/outside the Company premises.
• Conducts and schedules preventive maintenance check-ups/tests on all Company equipments and machineries.
• Submits daily, weekly and/or monthly reports related to the upkeep/servicing of all Company equipments and machineries.
• Maintains an inventory of all Company tools and other consummables.
• Keeps service/maintenance reports and other data-collection records.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

1. Graduate of a four-year course in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Refrigeration), or its equivalent.
2. Two (2) years experience in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures.
3. Computer literate.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Honest and trustworthy.
6. Possesses a driver’s license.
7. Preferably, a resident of Toril, Davao City.
