A new Canadian Firm is setting up an office in Cebu, Philippines and is in need of additional key staff to join our team to build it into a world class firm.

General Manager Job location: Cebu or Manila (1 position)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Asia this position will be responsible for profitably managing our Philippine operations.

Additionally this position will need to generate sales and lead the Sales Team in the pursuit of clients.

Reporting to this position will be all Philippine staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to succeed, be able to positively manage and motivate the staff and achieve sales goals of the company.

The Skills and background required are as follows:

  • A Master’s degree in Business or HR or Engineering.
  • 7 – 10 years Business experience at least 2 years of staff supervision experience.
  • The ability to work with spreadsheet and manage the books of the company.
  • The ability to sell a great product.
  • Knowledge of Philippines exports requirements and the ability to work with Government Agencies.
  • The ability to work 25% of the time when Western Canada is at work.
  • A savvy knowledge of computers, digital cameras and the Internet, a complete work manual will be provided.
  • 5 days a week 10 - 12 hours a day. The more you work the more you make.
  • Strong self confidence and the ability to sell an excellent product that will improve the lives of all we touch.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
  • Need to know and work well with Microsoft Office and Google office.
  • An energetic self starter capable of working unsupervised and getting the job done.

The job will provide:

  • A new Laptop with all required software

Payment will include:

  • A good Base salary.
  • Also per piece commission based on sales, this will range from 10,000 – 30,000 pesos a month (expect to make 30,000 per month)
  • Sale Targets commissions up to 40,000 pesos per year.
